Who are Energice?

The company Energice Ltd. was formed in October 1998 and is fully operational to carry out on-site or off-site work in the field of dry ice and sponge cleaning and maintenance of electrical rotating plant.

The employees of Energice are fully conversant with all sizes of AC and DC motors and generators, installation, alignment work, fitting / scraping of sleeve bearings, electrical testing etc.. Over the past 30 years we have been associated with the mechanical, electrical and insulation aspects of a variety of manufacturer’s machines including BTH, Met Vic, AEI, GEC, English Electric, Parsons Peebles, Newage, Alstom, LDC, Brush, LSE and so on.

The company also carries out on and off-site dry ice and sponge blasting, which is are relatively new processes in the UK.  It is becoming more prominent in the electrical rotating machines, hydro and steam turbine industries, where production demands dictate shorter downtimes for off-site overhauls of large capital plant.

The processes can also be used to clean printed circuit boards, thyristor banks, switchgear, turbine rotors and casings, titanium compressor drum assemblies and much more

The process is extensively used in many industries such as printing, paper, food, foundry, automotive, chemical production, bitumen, gypsum and power generation and is suitable for all cleaning tasks where chemicals, water, grit, sand, bead, steam, abrasion would adversely affect the component being cleaned or the surrounding environment.

The effectiveness of the equipment is quite remarkable and when compared to existing traditional methods of cleaning, represents a good cost saving benefit.
